Scope
This policy applies only to orders placed on our official Shopify store www.catsmeow.in.
For Amazon/Flipkart/other marketplaces, their respective return policies apply.
Definitions
Defective Product: Manufacturing defect, functional fault, or damage prior to delivery.
Incorrect Product: Differs from the item ordered (variant/size/spec).
Eligible Return: Meets all conditions under this Policy.
False Claim: Claim raised without proof or based on excluded reasons.
Eligibility — We Accept
• Wrong product received
• Damaged in transit prior to delivery
• Manufacturing defect
• Incorrect variant/specifications received
Not Accepted
Returns are not accepted for:
• Orders placed outside www.catsmeow.in
• Used/installed items that cannot be resold or are permanently fixed/adhered
• Damage due to misuse, negligence, improper installation, or modifications
Invalid / False Claims (Not Eligible for Return)
• Ordered by mistake
• Order placed by a child without consent
• Intended to buy another brand but ordered CatsMeow
• COD accepted by mistake
• Changed mind after delivery
• Found cheaper elsewhere
• No longer need/want the product
• Minor color/texture/finish variations due to lighting/screen
• Courier delays not attributable to the Company
• “Not as expected” when product matches the website description/specifications
Return Window
Request must be raised within 7 calendar days of delivery (courier tracking final).
Late requests are rejected.
Proof Requirement
Provide clear, dated photos/videos of the defect/damage/incorrect item before pickup approval.
Claims without proof are not accepted.
Return Shipping
• Company arranges and pays for pickup in eligible cases.
• Product must be packed securely.
• Only the product needs to be returned unless stated otherwise in writing.
Condition on Return
Used or worn items are accepted only if genuinely defective.
If inspection finds no defect, refund is denied and product is not sent back.
Exchange / Replacement Delivery Timeframe
Approved exchange or replacement orders will be shipped promptly.
Delivery timeframe for exchange/replacement orders: 7 days (depending on location and courier serviceability).
Process & Timelines
• Refund/replacement processed only after inspection of returned product
• Inspection time: 2–4 business days
• Refund (if approved): within 7 working days after inspection
Refund Methods
Prepaid Orders: Refunded to original payment method
COD Orders: Refunded via UPI / Google Pay / Bank Transfer
Refund Amount: Full order value including original shipping & COD charges (for approved cases)

• Be available for pickup attempts
The Company is not responsible for failed pickups caused by incorrect address or unavailability.
Courier delays are not the Company’s liability, though assistance is provided.
Abuse Prevention
The Company may reject returns/refunds/replacements and may blacklist customers for:
• Repeated false claims
• Abuse
• Fraudulent activities
This is at the Company’s sole discretion.
Limitation of Liability
Liability is strictly limited to refund or replacement as per this Policy.
The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of business or profit.
